United Airlines further increases connectivity at Dublin Airport with effect from Sunday 19 February restoring its seasonal service to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) operated by a 214-seat Boeing 767-300(ER) aircraft, up-gauged from a 169-seat Boeing 757-200 increasing capacity by almost 30%.
The Boeing 767-300(ER) features 30 United Polaris business seats , 48 economy plus and 184 economy class seats and offers cargo capacity of 35,919kg (35 tonnes) per flight which will immensely benefit Irish exporters. The carrier operates a fleet of 36 Boeing 767-300(ER) aircraft.
The first service was operated by N647UA Boeing 767-322(ER) msn 25284 arriving 0946 and departing 1228 local.

United including United Express operates 220 daily flights to 73 airports across the United States from Washington Dulles (IAD) hub, which is United’s sixth largest hub with an extensive including frequent daily service to top business travel markets in Newark/New York, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles and plans new international services to Amman, Berlin and Cape Town.
United has served Ireland since 1998 operating Dublin to Newark daily with Boeing 767-400 aircraft and plans to resume seasonal Chicago daily Boeing 757-200 service from 26 March and a second daily service to New York/Newark from 23 April using Boeing 757-200 and Shannon to New York/Newark daily service from 27 March with Boeing 757-200.
