The TUI Group has launched it’s Summer 2014 programme from Irish airports using a variety of in-house airline including Jetairfly, TUIFly and Thomson Airways. The first charter service to commence this season was Jetairfly from Cork Airport to Palma and Dublin to Corfu services commenced today. The flights will be flown on behalf of sister TUI Travel group airline, Thomson Airways.
Belgium’s Jetairfly is operating service from Cork to Palma de Mallorca Son Sant Joan using Boeing 737-700s.
Canada’s Sunwing Airlines Boeing 737-800s have been contracted to operate services from Belfast International and Dublin Airport on behalf of Thomson Airways.
Germany’s TUIFly is operating from City of Derry Airport to Palma de Mallorca Son Sant Joan using Boeing 737-800s.
A noticeable destination absent from Dublin’s programme is Sharm El-Sheikh.
The Department of Foreign Affairs travel advice dated 28th April stated “Due to an increased risk of civil unrest and a heightened threat of terrorist incidents, Irish citizens are advised to avoid all non-essential travel to Egypt at this time including Sharm El-Sheikh and the rest of the Sinai”.
Last year service Belfast and Dublin to Sharm El-Sheikh where suspended in September as security situation worsened.
TUI has added two new destinations from Dublin to Ibiza and Rhodes.

Belfast International to Bourgas, Corfu, Dalaman, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Las Palmas, Palma , Reus, Sharm El-Sheikh, Tenerife South.
City of Derry to Palma.
Cork Airport to Palma.
Dublin Airport to Burgas, Corfu, Faro, Ibiza, Larnaca, Málaga, Palma, Rhodes , Zakynthos.
