The Ryanair Group has completed its first year of deliveries of its new Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 ‘Gamechanger’ aircraft with the delivery of its 73rd aircraft, 9H-VVA Boeing 737-8200 msn 65894 Malta Air from Seattle to Dublin on 16th June in full Ryanair colours. Ryanair DAC (Ireland) is the largest operator with 32 aircraft followed by Malta Air subsidiary with 28 aircraft and Its Polish subsidiary Buzz operates 13 aircraft.
According to Ryanair Group Annual Report 2021 the basic list price is $102.5 million for a new Boeing 737-8200. Ryanair Group stated “Boeing has granted Ryanair certain price concessions as part of the 2014 Boeing Contract. As a result, the “effective price” (the purchase price of the new aircraft net of discounts received from Boeing) of each new aircraft will be significantly below the basic price mentioned above. The effective price applies to all new aircraft delivering from fiscal year 2022 through to fiscal year 2025.”
The Ryanair Group has significantly expanded Boeing 737-8200 fleet operations across European bases with aircraft now based in Bologna, Brussels Charleroi, Budapest, Dublin, Krakow, London Stansted, Malta, Manchester, Marseille, Milan Bergamo, Milan Malpensa, Paris Beauvais, Pisa and Warsaw Modlin.
