In an Linkedin Post dated 23 May SESAR Deployment Manager congratulated Irish budget carrier Ryanair for completion of the SWIM-enabled Operational Control Center (OCC) SESAR deployment project.
SESAR Deployment Project Manager Mathilde Dorfsman, said “The completion of this project brought a solid foundation and a great progress in system wide information management capabilities to achieve real time data exchange between operational stakeholders. It contributes to greater operational efficiency, improved predictability and resilience into Ryanair operations.”
The post added “The hardware infrastructure, software applications and operational procedures required to enable Ryanair’s Flight Operations Control to be System Wide Information Management (SWIM) compliant were implemented. It allows the regular usage of relevant information in operations.”
SEARS added “The ultimate goal of this project is to enable Ryanair to routinely incorporate SWIM data in daily operations and lay the foundations for improvements in Ryanair’s operational #efficiency, #predictability and #resilience through the SWIM’s Yellow Profile and contribute to some of the available services to improve network operations.”
