Ryanair celebrated the milestone of 20 years successful operations in Valencia since its first flight from Valencia to London Stansted in 2004 and has carried over 37 million passengers to date.
The carrier has 8 based Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 aircraft operating from Terminal one, 64 routes including 6 new routes to Birmingham, Lamezia, Sofia, Verona, Warsaw and Wroclaw, carrying over 3.2 million passengers to and from Valencia this summer with over 670 weekly flights.
Ryanair Country Manager Spain, Elena Cabrera said “Ryanair has demonstrated its commitment to the Valencian Community by offering extensive connectivity with the aim of increasing the number of passengers in the coming years. Ryanair’s aim is to increase inbound tourism in the region and offer a greater variety of destinations to Valencians who want to travel for work, pleasure or to visit friends and family.”
