Gulf global connector Qatar Airways has boosted capacity on double daily service from Doha hub to Dublin route, effective 10th January is deploying a larger two class 283 seat Airbus A350-900 on QTR17/18 service to 31st January to meet market demand in lieu of 254 seat Boeing 787-8 aircraft Dreamliner.
Qatar Airways Irish website lists Airbus A350-900 product stating “Experience the skies like never before. Featuring state-of-the-art technology and an extra-wide body, our A350-900 was developed for an optimal travel experience, by delivering maximum comfort and efficiency.”
In an Sunday Indepdent interview 2018 former Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker stated “Yes. Yes. Yes. As we start to get more A350s, a lot of those routes will be replaced with the A350-900 or the A350-1000.”
