Aer Lingus Regional ATR72 |
Myanmar’s Yangon Airways has taken delivery of former Aer Arann ATR72-500 EI-REO, construction number 787. The aircraft departed Dublin on Saturday 12th October around 2300 local as REA787, in basic Aer Lingus Regional colours.
This aircraft was disposed of as part of the ‘New Beginning’ strategy, as the carrier takes delivery of eight new ATR72-600s in it’s fleet renewal programme.
According to website Flighradar24 the aircraft performed a short acceptance from Dublin Airport on Monday 8th October as REA100M prior to ferry flight to its new owner.
Dutch aviation website Skyliner Aviation reported EI-REO was Ferried Dublin- Heraklion (Greece)-Al Hin (UAE)-Nagpur (India)-Yagon on 12th-15th October.
Aviation Group NLSPOT reported on 19th September Aer Arann is offering the following for sale or lease – ATR42s EI-CPT construction number 161, EI-CBK construction number 199 & EI-EHH construction number 196 plus ATR72 EI-REM construction number 760.
