KLM Airlines increased frequency on Amsterdam-Belfast City route from daily service to 12 weekly for Summer peak season from 2 July through to 25 August with an additional five weekly services operating Monday to Friday. According to passenger demand aircraft deployed on route varies from Embraer 175 (88 seats), Embraer 190 (100 seats), to Embraer 195-E2 (132 seats).

KLM Airlines, part of one of Europe’s largest airline groups Air France-KLM commenced a daily service to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport from May 2015. As imports of goods from The Netherlands increasing in recent years and the country being one of the largest export markets in the EU for Northern Ireland manufacturers, this route ensures connectivity with major export and business markets identified by Invest Northern Ireland.
