JetBlue Airways announced the appointment of Tracy Lawlor to the role of Chief People Officer, with immediate effect. Lawlor, a veteran of the airline for nearly 23 years, has served as acting chief people officer since March 2024.
In the role reporting to JetBlue CEO, Joanna Geraghty. Lawlor will be responsible for engaging JetBlue crewmembers and fostering its unique culture, overseeing teams such as compensation and benefits; diversity, equity and inclusion; crew relations; culture; values and labor relations; recruiting and talent management.
JetBlue’s CEO, Joanna Geraghty said “Tracy is an experienced leader known for her ability to turn strategic visions into reality while fostering strong collaboration across the airline. Her deep understanding of our business as well as her passion for our mission and values make her the ideal leader to help guide our people and culture as we execute our strategy and set up JetBlue for long-term success.”
