AerCap Confirms Placement of Five Embraer E-Jets E2 Aircraft to Borajet Airlines
AerCap Holdings N.V. announced at the Istanbul Airshow it has confirmed placement of three Embraer E190-E2s and two E195-E2s to Turkish carrier, Borajet Airlines. The aircraft, on long term lease from AerCap’s order book with Embraer, will begin delivering to Borajet Airlines in 2018. AerCap is the launch lessor customer of Embraer’s E-Jets E2 second generation of this family of commercial aircraft with a total of 50 Embraer E190-E2s and E195-E2s on order.
BOC Aviation And Air China Enter Into Purchase-And-Leaseback Arrangement For Five New Aircraft
BOC Aviation Limited announced that it has entered into a purchase-and-leaseback arrangement with Air China for five aircraft, comprising three Boeing 777-300ER aircraft and two Airbus A330-300 aircraft, all scheduled for delivery new from the manufacturer in the fourth quarter of 2016.
Sri Lanka to pay $170 million to AerCap for A350 cancellation: Finance Minister
According to news agency Reuters Sri Lanka will pay $170 million to AerCap Holdings N.V the world’s largest independent aircraft leasing company, for cancelling a lease signed by the previous government for four A350s, Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake said. The government canceled four A350 aircraft it had signed to lease from AerCap. It has placed orders for another four A-350 with Airbus Group.
