An Airbus A320neo, EI-KIE (msn 12428), has been added to the Air Astana fleet, bringing the total number of aircraft to 33. The airline’s new acquisition was delivered straight from the Airbus factory in Toulouse and arrived at Almaty International Airport on 6 March.
The aircraft’s interior includes 148 seats, comprised of 16 business class seats and 132 economy class seats.
Air Astana has further plans to grow its fleet by leasing seven Airbus A321neo LR aircraft. Deliveries for these new aircraft will start in 2026. The airline, which is headquartered in Almaty, Kazakhstan, currently operates an Airbus A320 and A321 family and Boeing 767-300ERs aircraft.
