Dublin Airport handled more than 1.1 million passengers in February the same last year, on a like-for-like basis passenger numbers increased by 3% in February, taking into account prior leap year.
Traffic to and from continental Europe rose by 1% with almost 540,000 passengers travelling to European destinations and increased by 2% to North America with more than 76,000 passengers. The Middle East retains its position as the strongest growing market up 11% with more than 37,000 passengers.
Traffic on domestic routes declined by 13% to just over 4,500 passengers and UK traffic declined by 2% to 510,000 passengers.
