Danish carrier DAT has wet-leased OY-RUV ATR72-212A(600) msn 1527 painted in “Aalborg Håndbold” livery to Emerald Airlines exclusive operator of Aer Lingus Regional franchise from 26 April. The duration of lease is unknown, presumably to bridge capacity pending delivery of two ATR72-600’s G-CMMN and G-CMMT to Emerald Airlines UK reported on Planespotters.net.
The aircraft positioned Copenhagen to Dublin as EAI31P entering service next day operating on routes to Exeter, Isle of Man, Leeds/Bradford, Liverpool and Southampton according to Flightradar24
DAT transports carries close to one million passengers per annum in a fleet of 20 ATR and Airbus A320 aircraft on regional routes in Denmark, Norway, Italy and Germany and Norway which can be booked on its website dat.dk. DAT also operates ad hoc charter services and is operating ACMI contracts.
