Cityjet wet-leased an CRJ1000 to Brussels Airlines supplementing two CRJ900s aircraft currently on wet lease. The aircraft the fourth CRJ1000 to join the Cityjet fleet, registered EI-HIB CRJ-1000EL msn 19012 delivered Ljubljana to Copenhagen on 28 September positioned Copenhagen to Brussels 30 September.
Brussels Airlines deployed the CRJ1000 on its European route network effective 1st October operating Brussels (BRU) to Vienna (VIE) as SN2901/2, also to Berlin, Birmingham, Bordeaux, Copenhagen, Edinburgh, Hamburg and Prague.
Planespotters.net website reveals msn 10912 delivered in 2011 to Brit Air as F-HMLG subsequently transferring with Air France Group carriers Air France, HOP, Air France HOP. In December 2022 it was registered to EIC Aircraft Leasing as OE-LIE.
