Ryanair’s Polish subsidiary, Buzz, has transferred two Boeing 737-800 aircraft to the airline group’s Maltese subsidiary, Malta Air. The two aircraft in Ryanair’s livery, were transferred to Malta Air’s fleet in late January 2025.

The first aircraft Boeing 737-8AS (MSN 33824), was registered as 9H-QFJ on January 29 at Nuremberg,  previously registered as SP-RKY with Buzz and EI-DHY with Ryanair.

The second aircraft, another Boeing 737-8AS (MSN 44779), was registered as 9H-QFK on January 30 at Nuremberg, previously registered as SP-RSX with Buzz and EI-FZF with Ryanair.

Malta Air fleet as of 9 February 2025, stands at 176 aircraft operating 133 Boeing 737-800s and 43 Boeing 737 MAX 8-200s.
