ASL Airlines France, part of the ASL Aviation Group, has announced the deployment of a Boeing 737NG at its Lille base for the IATA Summer 2025 season, starting March 30. The airline will launch a new domestic route between Lille and Toulon, operating twice weekly.

The addition of this route, which will provide direct access to the Mediterranean’s Var coast, is in response to growing demand from travellers seeking alternatives to major transit hubs in Paris and southern France.

With this expansion, ASL Airlines France continues to strengthen its presence in Lille, which is now set to become the airline’s primary regional hub in terms of destinations served. ASL France already operates five routes to Algeria, including Algiers, Oran, Béjaïa, Sétif, and Tlemcen.

ASL Airlines France Commercial and Program Director Jonathan Raimbault, said “We are delighted to announce the opening of this new domestic air route between Lille and Toulon, which will facilitate travel between the north and south of France, starting next spring. This direct connection, at popular times, will offer our passengers more convenience and flexibility for city breaks, while strengthening the economic and tourist links between these two dynamic regions.”

Lille Airport President Magali Huchette, said “We are very pleased to see ASL Airlines serving Toulon from Lille for this 2025 summer season. Long requested by many of our customers, this new destination is a welcome addition to our national network to the south of France and significantly strengthens the presence of ASL Airlines in Lille, confirming in passing the importance and quality of the dialogue between the airport and the company to develop a quality offer to serve the region.”
