In an Linkedin post onmt announced The Moroccan National Tourism Office (MNTO) and Aer Lingus, have launched a new direct flight connecting Dublin and Marrakech, further expanding Morocco’s global connectivity.

The new route commenced October 26, 2024, operating three weekly using an 174 seat Airbus A320-200 aircraft, marks a significant step in positioning Marrakech as a prime destination for Irish travelers.
Aligned with the MNTO’s “Light in Action” strategy, this initiative enhances connectivity between Morocco and Ireland, meeting the growing demand from the Irish market.

Aer Lingus competes direct with Ryanair whom responded with additional frequency added on route, increasing from 2pw to 3pw.
