Kazakhstan’s low-cost airline FlyArystan expanded its fleet with delivery 13 July of EI-KFE Airbus A320-214 msn 5738 , becoming the 23rd aircraft in FlyArystan fleet. According to Planespotters.net website this aircraft was formerly operated by Hong Kong Express as B-LCG.
FlyArystan Acting President Richard Ledger, said “The Airbus A320 is operationally efficient for our network and is recognized as one of the most favourable aircraft for short- and medium-haul flights. This addition marks our commitment to providing passengers with the best travel experience and is particularly important to receive during the peak summer period.”
In Kazakhstan tradition a passenger of the airline chose the aircraft’s name. The naming process occurred in the new international terminal of Almaty Airport for the first time. The plane was named ‘Altair’ in honor of the eponymous star.
