Boeing announced delivery of its 1,500th Boeing 737 MAX to Irish budget carrier Ryanair during April. The aircraft subject to confirmation registered EI-IJJ, a Boeing 737-8-200 msn 67093, departed Boeing Field on delivery 29 April arriving Dublin next day. Ryanair has a further 60 Boeing 737-8-200 aircraft to be delivered from 210 aircraft order book.
Ryanair’s 1,500th delivery marks second Irish milestone with Boeing’s 737 MAX programme. In December 2022, Boeing delivered the 1000th 737 MAX to Dublin based aircraft lessor Avolon. This comes almost six years after Avolon delivered the world’s first 737 MAX aircraft in May 2017.
