Delta Airlines 9 May launched a new international route service between Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and Dublin (DUB) operating daily using 216 seat three class Boeing 767-300(ER) aircraft, until 26 October. The Dublin service is the first new transatlantic Delta route from MSP since 2016, when it added Reykjavik, Iceland.
Delta Airlines Vice President of Operations at MSP, Jeannine Ashworth said “As MSP’s largest global carrier, Delta is proud to offer our customers even more international destinations to explore with the start of our Dublin service this summer. We’ve already seen strong interest for our MSP-DUB route and the Delta team here in Minneapolis is ready to welcome our customers onboard, wherever their travels take them.”
Metropolitan Airports Commission CEO Brian Ryks, said “Delta has strengthened its transatlantic capacity as the number one carrier at MSP. Europe will be a top draw this summer, and the Dublin route gives Delta travellers more direct flights into Europe, with a premium schedule of connections to other major overseas destinations.”
Delta Airlines operates nearly 350 peak day departures to over 135 destinations across the globe from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), including 24 international route, which is the airline’s second busiest hub.
