OY-RUB ATR72-202 c/n 509 Danish Air Transport RE100P positioned Edinburgh to Dublin Airport on Friday 31st , the aircraft is on short term lease as to Aer Arann operating as Aer Lingus Regional to facilitate hand-back of some of their leased ATR aircraft, and as stand-by aircraft pending delivery of new ATR72-600s.
According to website Flightradar24.com OY-RUB aircraft operated it’s first revenue service for Aer Arann on Sunday 2nd June as RE59ED to Edinburgh.
Industry sources have stated the Danish Air Transport lease term is for ten weeks.
Danish Air Transport, abbreviated DAT, is an airline based at Vamdrup, Denmark, operating scheduled and chartered passenger and cargo flights.
