ASL Aviation group has taken delivery of EI-STE Boeing 737-4Y0(SF) to be operated by Air Contractors. The aircraft was ferried Miami-Gander-Shannon 23th September 2013. The aircraft performed a test flight at Shannon on 18th October, prior to positioning to Dublin to enter revenue service.
The aircraft registered as N286AL was ferried Istanbul-Shannon-Pease International Tradeport-Miami on 10-11th May 2013 for cargo conversion with Aeronautical Engineers Inc. This is the fourth of six contracted freighter conversions undergoing modification at Commercial Jet’s (CJI) Miami and Dothan facilities.
EI-STE is a high gross weight Boeing 737-400SF 11 Pallet freighter and has a maximum range of about 2,800 nm and the ability to carry payloads of up to 48,000 lbs. ASL has reported exceptional in service reliability on the first three AEI Boeing 737-400SF’s.
