Aer Lingus Regional operated by Aer Arann has taken delivery of it’s fifth ATR72-600 as part of it’s ‘New Beginning’ Strategy.
EI-FAW ATR72-212A (600) construction number 1122 Hex code 4CAAEB named “St. Cronan” ex test registration F-WWEK was delivered Toulouse to Dublin on Tuesday 26th November as ‘REA112P’ arriving 1850 local.
The aircraft proceeded to Hangar 6 on arrival for post-delivery work prior to entering next sevice next day 27th November, operating EIN3224/5 to and from Glasgow.
The airline will receive the sixth new aircraft, in time for the Christmas rush which will operate the Dublin to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol and Newcastle routes.
The airline is to take delivery of a further three ATR72-600 EI-FAX ,EI-FCY, EI-FAZ.
According to website Planespotters.net F-WWEK had first flight on 19th November 2013.
