AerCap Announces Closing of $1.3 Billion of New Credit Facilities


AerCap announced that it has completed the closing of $1.3 billion of new credit facilities. The facilities will primarily be used to acquire new narrowbody and widebody aircraft as they deliver from Boeing and Airbus through the end of 2016.
AWAS delivers first of four planned new A320 passenger aircraft to long-time customer VivaAerobus


AWAS, announced that it has delivered the first of four planned new A320 passenger aircraft to its customer, VivaAerobus, purchasing the aircraft the airline had previously ordered from the manufacturer and then placing it with them on a long term lease.
AWAS expanding relationship with VietJet with lease of two new A320 passenger aircraft


AWAS announced that it has agreed to expand its already strong relationship with Vietjet with the lease of two new A320 passenger aircraft delivering in 2016 to meet the airlines’ rapid growth. AWAS is providing a financing solution for these two aircraft and then placing them on long-term leases with the airline.

GE Capital Aviation Services and Virgin America Sign Lease Agreement for 10 Airbus A321neo Aircraft


GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) announced it signed an agreement with Virgin America, Inc., to lease 10 new Airbus A321neo aircraft powered by CFM’s LEAP-1A engines to expand the carrier’s fleet. The first aircraft is scheduled for delivery in Q1 2017 and the remainder will deliver in 2017 and 2018. All 10 aircraft are part of GECAS’ existing orderbook with Airbus.
GE Capital Aviation Services Completes Purchase-and-Leaseback Transaction for Two Airbus A350s with Finnair


GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, today announced it completed a purchase-and-leaseback transaction involving two new Airbus A350-900 XWB aircraft with Finnair. The aircraft delivered in October and December and are part of Finnair’s long-haul fleet renewal program.


Intrepid Delivers One New Airbus A330-300 to Evelop Airlines


Intrepid Aviation announced that it has delivered one (1) new Airbus A330-300 to Evelop Airlines. The aircraft is powered by Rolls Royce 772B engines and is subject to a long-term lease to the airline.


LCI Helicopters Places a Second Airbus H225 with CHC Helicopter


LCI Helicopters, the helicopter leasing division of LCI, has concluded the sale-and-leaseback of a second Airbus H225 helicopter delivery to global helicopter operator, CHC Helicopter. The financing of the Airbus H225 is the second of two aircraft which were acquired by CHC in 2014. Valued in excess of $50 million, the sale-and-leaseback transactions are the first in what both LCIH and CHC hope to be a long-term partnership between the companies

Norwegian-subsidiary Arctic Aviation Assets to lease out 12 aircraft to airline HK Express

Arctic Aviation Assets Ltd (AAA) – a fully owned subsidiary of Norwgian Air Shuttle – has signed a final agreement to lease out 12 Airbus 320neo aircraft to airline HK Express. The 12 aircraft are scheduled to be delivered between 2016 and 2018.
PEMCO Redelivers 3rd B737 Freighter to Kahala Aviation


PEMCO World Air Services (PEMCO) has announced the redelivery of a B737-300F aircraft (MSN 27459) to Ireland-based Kahala Aviation. The freighter, converted at PEMCO’s headquarters in Tampa, Fla., has now entered service. This conversion marks PEMCO’s third redelivery of a B737-300 to Kahala since 2008. A fourth aircraft (MSN 27460) is scheduled for redelivery during Q4 of 2015.
