This week saw two Boeing 737-700 pass through Dublin Airport on delivery to Ethiopian Airlines strategic partner ASky Airlines.
The aircraft ET-AVO 737-752 c/n 33786 ex N714SY using callsign ‘ETH9201’ and ET-AVP 737-752 c/n 33787 ‘ETD9201’ where in basic Sun Country Airlines colours devoted of titles respectively on 12 April and 14 April arriving direct from Indianapolis departing to Ethiopian Airlines hub in Addis Abba.
The pan-African airline ASky Airlines was established by the west African private sector, in collaboration with its strategic partner, Ethiopian Airlines, in 2008, holding a 40% stake. It launched operation in 2010 ASKY Airlines is based at Lomé-Tokoin Airport, Togo, and operates scheduled services to destinations throughout West and Central Africa.
ASky Airlines currently has a fleet of 4 Boeing 737-700 and 737-800 aircraft and 4 DHC8-400 aircraft. All of ASKY’s aircraft are Ethiopian registered.
