Aer Lingus Airbus A321-253NX EI-LRH msn 10245 named “St Fechin / Féchín” was delivered Hamburg Finkenwerder to Dublin on 26th March. The aircraft is in 16 Aer Space business class and 168 economy class configuration and is powered by CFM International LEAP-1A engines.
Aer Lingus has a total of seven Airbus A321LR’s in its fleet with a single A321LR to be delivered by May 2021 all leased from Air Lease Corporation (ALC).
The aircraft to due to be transferred to Aer Lingus (UK) subsidiary as G-EILH.
The Airbus A321LR variant provides extended range for the A320neo Family’s longest fuselage version, able to fly routes of up to 4,000 nm by utilising extra fuel in three Additional Centre Tanks (ACTs).
In 2023 Aer Lingus is to take delivery of 8 Airbus A321XLR’s on order as part of larger IAG Group order.
