Ryanair based its first Boeing 737-8200 MAX ‘Gamechanger’ at Shannon as the addition 3rd aircraft announced last November in addition to two based B737NG aircraft. Three 737 MAX aircraft rotated through base to date.

Flightradar24 data reveals EI-HAY Boeing 737-8200 msn 65079 Ryanair was briefly based on 13-14 April, the aircraft positioned Dublin to Shannon 13 April as RYR71 entering service same to day to and from Newcastle as RYR3009/8 and next day to London Stansted as RYR64.
EI-HAY was replaced by EI-IGH Boeing 737-8200 msn Ryanair operating inbound scheduled service RYR109 from London Stansted to Shannon 17 April and same day to and from Kaunas as RYR6432/1.
The Boeing 737 8-200 MAX ‘Gamechanger’ aircraft is fitted with 197 economy class seats 4% more than the 737-800 is configured with Boeing Sky Interior, LED lighting and larger pivoting overhead stowage bins , delivering 16% lower fuel consumption per seat than the 737-800 aircraft with 5% lower operating costs than 737 MAX 8.
