TUI will operate eight departures direct from Dublin to Melbourne Orlando International Airport (MLB), Florida throughout June and July using TUIs own Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. The service will operate weekly on Tuesdays from 24th June 2024 offering fourteen night holidays in Orlando.
In 2022 TUI selected Orlando Melbourne International Airport (MLB) as its Florida gateway for customers travelling to Orlando.
Melbourne Orlando International Airport (MLB), recently under went a $72-million-dollar capital investment, providing significant upgrades to the comfort and convenience of the MLB customer experience with the addition of 86,000 square feet of new facilities, including a welcome centre, new passenger boarding bridges capable of supporting wide body aircraft, food and beverage options, retail offerings, an expanded international baggage claim, a TSA passenger screening space with quadruple the space as before, and four new sets of bathrooms.
Plans further capital improvement projects including the installation of an innovative in-line baggage system, new escalator, and enhanced security systems. These improvements are designed to enable MLB to continue to expand operational capacity and improve passenger experience.
Orlando Melbourne International Airport is Melbourne Orlando located on Florida’s Space Coast, just a mile from Orlando’s closest beaches and is 1.5 miles (2.4 km) northwest of downtown Melbourne, in Brevard County, Florida, United States, and 50 miles (80.5 km) southeast of Orlando, located on central Florida’s Space Coast. It is the closest airport to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center and Port Canaveral, the second largest cruise port in the world, and a short drive to Orlando’s world-famous attractions.
