SE-RYH Boeing 737 MAX 8 msn 64992 Norwegian named “Tycho Brahe” departed Dublin Airport to Bergen (BGO) on Saturday 11 December 2021 as ‘NAX8901’ at 0828 local after storage following the 737 MAX fleet global grounding on 12 March 2019.
The aircraft formerly registered as EI-FYH was delivered Boeing Field to Shannon on 27 June 2018.
The aircraft took an unusual route on departure according to Flightradar24 routing over the North West of Ireland into North Atlantic ocean prior to turning over Faroe Islands before routing direct to destination arriving 1222 local.
The airline announced 1st December it entered into agreement to lease two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with lease term for each aircraft is for nine years commencing in 2022. The agreement includes ‘power-by-the-hour’ (PBH) arrangements.
