Irish Budget carrier Ryanair has launched a new route from its Agadir Base to Dublin effective from Sunday 18th October operating twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.
The inaugural service (RYR3995/3994) was operated by EI-EKR Boeing 737-8AS msn 38503.
ONMT General Manager Adel El Fakir said “Ryanair has been a long-time partner of the Morocco destination and plays a key role in our system aimed at increasing point-to-point air connections between the kingdom and the world.”
Ryanair DAC CEO Eddie Wilson stated “We are proud to announce the upcoming opening of our third Moroccan base. For us, this has been a historic partnership since our first flight to Agadir in 2008 and we are happy to contribute to the development of this region as a leading winter destination.”
Ryanair signed a strategic agreement with ONMT in July to open a new base in Agadir with two Boeing 737-800’s operating 25 routes creating 60 direct jobs offering a total capacity of 229,000 seats as as of winter 2021-2022.
Ireland’s newest diplomatic mission, the Embassy of Ireland in Morocco, began its work in Rabat on 11 October.
