According to the Canadian Transportation Agency website, the agency has approved a Lynx Air request for flights to Ireland and Northern Ireland
The carrier has applied to the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) for a licence to operate a scheduled international service, large aircraft, in accordance with the Agreement on Air Transport between Canada and the European Community and its Member States, signed on December 18, 2009 (Agreement) for services to Ireland.
The Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland concerning Air Services signed ad referendum on May 18, 2022 (Agreement).
The Agency is satisfied that the applicant meets all the applicable requirements of subsection 69(1) of the CTA.
Calgary based Lynx operates a fleet of 9 Boeing 737-8 aircraft with another 38 aircraft on order.
