AerCap Announces Closing of New $0.6 Billion Credit Facility
AerCap Holdings N.V. announced that it has completed the closing of a new $0.6 billion secured credit facility. The facility will primarily be used to acquire new narrowbody and widebody aircraft as they deliver from Boeing and Airbus through 2017. The facility was signed to finance a portfolio of eight aircraft and matures in 2024.
Aergo Capital expands its fleet with four Bombardier planes
Aergo Capital has acquired four next-generation Bombardier craft that are on lease to Ethiopian Airlines. Aergo said that it has bought a British Virgin Islands company that owns four Bombardier Q400 NextGen aircraft. Ethiopian Airlines is leasing all four for the long term. An existing financing deal with Export Development Canada will stay in place.
Avolon delivers Boeing B737-800 to Aerolineas Argentinas
Avolon announced the delivery of one Boeing 737-800 aircraft to Aerolineas Argentinas. This is the second Avolon aircraft on lease to Aerolineas Argentinas.

Financial Products Group Co., Ltd and FPG Amentum Ltd. (‘FPG Amentum’), the Dublin-based aircraft leasing / management company announce the acquisition of one Airbus 321-200. The aircraft was acquired from another lessor and is on lease to Wizz Air Hungary Ltd.
Industry Leaders Launch AVi8 Air Capital Commercial Aircraft Leasing Company
Two aviation industry leaders announced the launching of a new commercial aircraft leasing company to be headquartered in Dublin with a commercial office in Miami: AVi8 Air Capital. Both co-founders, Ray Sisson will serve as the company’s Executive Chairman, and Ed Wegel will assume CEO duties at AVi8. The company will focus on building its fleet with the newest, most desirable narrowbody commercial aircraft, is in process with several leading global investment banks and is currently analyzing potential deals.
SMBC Aviation Capital delivers A321-200 to Volaris
SMBC Aviation Capital announced that it has delivered an Airbus A321-200 aircraft bearing manufacturer’s serial number 7416 to Volaris. This is SMBC Aviation Capital’s 13th aircraft on lease to the airline and this specific aircraft is the 2nd aircraft of a two (2) aircraft deal.
