Kazakhstan based Low Cost Carrier FlyArystan, a subsidiary of the Air Astana Group announced the delivery of its 26th Airbus A320. The aircraft delivered 18 April 2025, Katowice to Almaty International ,registered EI-KFG Airbus A320-232 (msn 6614) named “Sumbile”, which translates from Kazakh as Sirius. It is the brightest star in the night sky, with a luminosity more than 25 times that of the sun. The name reflects FlyArystan’s aspiration to inspire passengers to explore new horizons.

FlyArystan President Richard Ledger, said “The expansion of FlyArystan’s fleet is driven both by the growth of our route network and the need to meet consistently high demand for air travel. This is particularly important ahead of the peak summer season. New aircraft allow us to increase flight frequency and explore promising destinations. Among these is a new international route connecting Almaty with Yining (Kuldja) from May 18, 2025, offering a direct and efficient link between southern Kazakhstan and western China. This route opens up additional opportunities for tourism, business cooperation, and the strengthening of cultural ties between the two countries”.
