Emerald Airlines, exclusive operator of Aer Lingus Regional, has based a fifth ATR72-600 at its Belfast City Airport base ,effective from Monday 25th July.
The aircraft operated a flight display at Bray Air Show as EAI2022P departing Dublin at 1549 returning at 1636, prior to departure to Belfast City.
In an LinkedIn Post Emerald Airlines stated “Today we welcomed our latest ATR72-600 to our Belfast fleet, striving to be the airline of choice for those traveling to and from Belfast. This allows us to increase the frequency of our flights in line with consumer demand.”
EI-GZW ATR72-600 msn positioned Dublin to Belfast City as EAI31P on 24 August departing 1729 arriving 1757 local. The aircraft entered revenue service next day as EIN3650/51 to and from Edinburgh.
Aer Lingus Regional operates from Belfast City Airport to Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Southampton.
