The SAS Airlines Group is progressively re-transferring Airbus A320neo’s from its mainline carrier SAS Airlines to SAS Airlines Ireland (Scandinavian Airlines Connect).
SE-DYM Airbus A320-251N msn 7979 was restored to the Irish register on 29th October at Stockholm Arlanda as EI-SIC
The aircraft positioned 29th October Stockholm Arlanda to Copenhagen as SL9190. The aircraft first service Copenhagen (CPH) to Faro (FAO) as SAS2823.
SAS Ireland will establish a base at Copenhagen Airport at the beginning of 2022 this will be a lower cost carrier focused on competitive leisure routes using Airbus A320neo aircraft. Scandinavian Airlines Connect Ltd, also known as SAS Ireland or SAIL, is an Irish subsidiary of Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), and by extension SAS Group.
