SE-DYD Airbus A320-251N msn 7951 has been re-transferred from the parent company to its Irish subsidiary as EI-SIB on 25th September reported German aviation website Skyliner Aviation. The aircraft operated a service from Stockholm Arlanda to Malaga the same day as SAS1583/6004.
SAS Ireland will establish a base at Copenhagen Airport at the beginning of 2022 this will be a lower cost carrier focused on competitive leisure routes using Airbus A320neo aircraft. Danish aviation website Check.in dk reports SAS Group is considering opening new Connect bases in Stockholm and Oslo.
The carrier operates a total of eight Airbus A320-251N registered as EI-SIB, EI-SIC, EI-SID, EI-SIE, EI-SIF, EI-SIG, EI-SIH and EI-SII.
Scandinavian Airlines Connect Ltd, also known as SAS Ireland or SAIL, is an Irish subsidiary of Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), and by extension SAS Group.
