Air Transat has restarted its Dublin direct to Toronto flights effective from Tuesday 12th April. The first service TSC230/231 was operated by C-GOIO Airbus A321-271NX msn 9492.
The service will operate weekly on Tuesdays up to 26th April, increasing to three times weekly from 3rd May operating on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturdays. From Tuesday 17th May the carrier increases frequency to four times weekly adding Friday service.
The carrier will operate five times weekly from 13th June operating on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday to 31st October.
The Air Transat A321LR are operated in an 199 seat configuration in two classes with 12 premium Club Class seats in an exclusive cabin with personalized service and ergonomic seating and 187 economy class seats are wider, provide more personal space and are equipped with a state-of-the-art entertainment system.
Air Transat operates a fleet of 25 aircraft including 8 Airbus A330-200 and 17 Airbus A321CEO/NEO-LR . The carrier was the first North America operator of the A321LR and in 2020 Airbus delivered two new A321LR aircraft that leveraged a 10% sustainable aviation fuel blend for a flight from Hamburg, Germany, to Montreal, Canada. Air Transat operated the longest Airbus A321LR (registered C-GOIO) commercial flight from Montreal to Athens on 26th October 2020.
