Last December Ryanair announced a $100m investment in its base at Frankfurt-Hahn for summer 2024 basing a third Boeing 737-800 aircraft operated by Malta Air serving 33 destinations, operating 200 weekly growing 23%, carrying over 1 million passengers.
In 2010 Ryanair invested €25 million in Frankfurt Hahn building a new 7,000 sq/m heavy maintenance hangar accommodating up to two Boeing 737-800 aircraft, a new training centre housing up to 16 classrooms, two pilot training flight simulators, a full size aircraft fuselage and 70 bedrooms to facilitate training courses for new and existing Ryanair crews.

Ryanair operates Dublin to Frankfurt Hahn up to five times weekly and Kerry to Frankfurt Hahn twice weekly.
