The annual Lourdes Pilgrimage Charter season got underway today Sunday 31 March for this year’s summer season. The first four flights were operated by AlbaStar (Spain), Sundair (Germany) and TradeAir (Croatia) on behalf of tour operators Joe Walsh Tours and Marian Pilgrimages. Typical Pilgrimage is on average four or five days.

Joe Walsh Tours plans to operate from Cork 22/31 May, City of Derry 27 May, Ireland West Airport 31 May with extensive programme from all airports up to 26 September.
Ryanair operates a seasonal schedule service from Dublin to Lourdes operating twice weekly on Thursday and Sunday using 189 seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
