African carrier Ethiopian Airlines took delivery of 18th Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft through Dublin Airport on 5-7 March. The aircraft registered ET-BAI 62458 msn callsign ‘ETH9202’ arrived 1547 local direct from Boeing field departing 7 March 1220 local under same callsign direct to Addis Ababa.
Ethiopian Airlines Group, the fastest-growing global airline brand and the continent’s largest airline, has signed deals to purchase a total of 84 aircraft at the Dubai Airshow. Ethiopian has agreed to order 11 787 Dreamliner and 20 737 MAX aicraft with an opportunity for 15 and 21 additional aircraft, respectively, from Boeing, making the total order size with Boing to 67 aircraft for delivery between 2026 and 2030.
