Ryanair continues to 737s to lessors ahead it’s new delivery stream of 175 Boeing 737-800s commencing in September 2014.
EI-DPE Boeing 737-8AS/W construction number 33605 operated it’s last revenue service as RYR778 from Dublin to Glasgow Prestwick on 22nd November.
The aircraft withdrawn from use and stored at Glasgow Prestwick in basic Ryanair colours with no logo/titles on return to lessor BBAM. According to Planefinder the aircraft carried out an air test from Glasgow Prestwick on 10th December 2013 as ‘Ryanair 1’.
On 18th December the aircraft was re-registered as TC-IZG ahead of new lease to Turkish carrier Izmir Airlines. TC-IZG was delivered on 24th December to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport.
EI-DPE was delivered on 21st December 2006.
The return of EI-DPE reduces Ryanair fleet to 300 units in service.
