Turkish Airlines has changed Air Traffic Control (ATC) callsigns on it’s Istanbul to Dublin effective from 6th January 2014, reports a Dublin spotters group on Facebook.
THY1975 was THY9FT now uses new callsign THY13R
THY1976 was THY7GJ now uses new callsign THY6JX
THY1977 was THY1977 now uses new callsign THY44D
THY1978 was THY4EV now uses new callsign THY1NS

The airline uses predominantly a mix of Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900ER’s on the route, and is to increase frequency from 10 to 12 times weekly effective 30th March, as part of expanded Summer 2014 schedule.
