AerCap Celebrates the Delivery of the First Airbus A320NEO Aircraft to China Southern Airlines
AerCap Holdings N.V announced the delivery of the first Airbus A320neo on lease to China Southern Airlines, making the airline the first carrier in China to operate the aircraft type. The delivery took place at a ceremony in the Airbus delivery center in Hamburg. This is the first of twenty-four A320neo aircraft to deliver to China Southern Airlines by AerCap, delivering through 2019.
Aeroflot Group to lease ten Boeing 737-800s from SB Leasing Ireland
Russia’s Aeroflot Group is set to lease ten additional CFM International-powered B737-800s from SB Leasing Ireland the minutes of a board meeting have revealed. The aircraft are due to be delivered in 2017 reports CH Aviation.
Arctic Aviation Assets closes financing of 2 x A320neo on lease to Hong Kong Express
Arctic Aviation Assets has successfully closed a term debt facility for two Airbus A320neo aircraft arranged by DVB Bank SE. The narrowbody aircraft are the first of twelve aircraft which will be delivered to Hong Kong Express from Airbus and placed on a long term operating leases. Hogan Lovells acted for Arctic Aviation Assets as lessor’s counsel while Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman represented DVB.

Avmax announced it has recently purchased one Dash 8-103 msn 537 from Nordic Aviation Contractor (Ireland) Limited. This increases the Avmax Dash 8 portfolio to 50 owned aircraft.

FPG Amentum sells two Volaris A320s
FPG Amentum Ltd announced the sale of two Airbus A320-233s (MSNs 3524 and 3543). The aircraft were sold on behalf of one of FPG Amentum’s investor customers to an entity managed by Aircastle Advisor LLC. The aircraft are on lease to Concesionaria Vuela Compañía de Aviación, SAPI de C.V. (‘Volaris’).
Goshawk deliver first of two A320neo aircraft to GoAir
Goshawk announced the acquisition of one Airbus 320neo aircraft on long- term lease to GoAir. The delivery is the first of a two-aircraft transaction from GoAir’s direct order with Airbus, with the second neo scheduled to deliver early in 2017. The aircraft is Goshawk’s sixth A320neo, which is in line with the lessor’s strategy of building a fleet of liquid, new technology aircraft

Intrepid Aviation announced the acquisition of a new B777-300ER aircraft from Boeing in Seattle and its delivery on long-term lease to Manila-based Philippine Airlines.
Intrepid Finances Second Boeing 777-300ER Delivery
Intrepid Aviation announced the financing of its second B777-300ER from its current orderbook. The aircraft delivered on December 12th and is on long-term lease to Philippine Airlines. The transaction was arranged by Natixis and financed by Natixis, Philippine National Bank, BOT Lease, NEC Capital and Far Eastern International Bank as Lenders.
Nord/LB and FPG Amentum enter into Cooperation
FPG Amentum Ltd and Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale announced that they are entering into commercial cooperation with FPG Amentum providing asset management to NORD/LB and the two parties developing joint industry research. To strengthen the cooperation NORD/LB is acquiring a minority stake in FPG Amentum.
Norwegian lessor Arctic Aviation Assets takes first Airbus A320neo
Norwegian Air Shuttle’s Dublin based lessor subsidiary Arctic Aviation Assets (AAA) has taken delivery of its first Airbus aircraft, the first of 70 A320neos the Norwegian has on order. The aircraft is the first of 12 A320neo’s that will be leased to Hong Kong carrier HK Express.

Norwegian’s subsidiary Arctic Aviation Assets has completed sale and leaseback of three Boeing 737-800 aircraft delivered in the fourth quarter 2016. This covers all the remaining deliveries by Boeing in 2016. The three aircraft will be leased for a period of 10 years and will be operated by Norwegian. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA has also established a credit facility of up to NOK 1 billion with DNB. The credit facility strengthen Norwegian’s liquidity buffer, and is part of the Groups financing strategy to ensure solid and flexible funding.
Santos Dumont: Delivery of the first A320neo to Hong Kong Express
Santos Dumont announced the delivery of the first A320neo aircraft from Arctic Aviation Assets (AAA) to Hong Kong Express. This is the first of a large number of aircraft delivery stream Santos Dumont are managing for AAA and the first of 12 A320neos that will be leased by AAA to Hong Kong Express.
SMBC Aviation Capital signs five Airbus A320neo aircraft deal with SAS
SMBC Aviation Capital announced that it has concluded a deal with Scandinavian Airline, SAS, for five Airbus A320neo aircraft on Sale and Leaseback. This is the most significant deal that SMBC Aviation Capital has completed with the airline and is the company’s first Airbus A320neo to be placed in Europe.
