EI-CPG Airbus A321-211 msn 1023 Aer Lingus named ‘St-Aidan/Aodhan ‘ was ferried Ciudad Real to Lasham on Monday 31st January prior to P2F conversion reported German aviation website Skyliner Aviation. According to Flightradar24 data the aircraft arrived in Lasham at 1605 local as EIN2537.
The aircraft positioned Dublin to Ciudad Real on 24th September 2020 as EIN2592 for long term storage, after being withdrawn from service in March.
EI-CPG first flew on 19 May 1999 and delivered on 28 May 1999.
Aer Lingus operated a total of three Airbus A321s across its European network until March 2020 when the aircraft where withdrawn from service due to Covid 19 Global Pandemic when the Irish government imposed non essential travel restrictions to Europe & UK. The carrier operates eight of its successor aircraft Airbus A321LR on European and North American routes.
