Irish budget carrier Ryanair announced that it will return to Asturias this winter season 2022/2023. The programme includes five new routes to Brussels Charleroi, Dublin, Düsseldorf Weeze, London Stansted and Rome FCO commencing 30 October with carrier expecting to carry 80,000 passengers. This is the largest offer of international flights in the history of the airport, as a result of its EU approved ‘Connect Asturias’ programme to 2026.
In addition to the commitment made with the regional government under Connect Asturais’ programme. Ryanair added two new routes that will connect Asturias with Dublin twice weekly (Wednesday and Sunday) and London Stansted three times weekly (Monday, Tuesday and Saturday).
Ryanair Commercial Director Jason McGuinness stated “We are happy to return to operate in Asturias from November with an exciting schedule that includes 5 new routes to must-see destinations throughout Europe, such as Dusseldorf, Rome. London, Dublin and Brussels. Together with our existing routes from Santander , Santiago de Compostela and Vitoria, we see Asturias as a great attraction that adds to our growing network in the north of Spain.”
