Ethiopian Airlines has taken delivery of its 31st DHC8-400 aircraft. The aircraft registered C-GKYL msn 4618 was delivered at Toronto Downsview on Friday 29 January 2021 .
On 30th January the aircraft routed Toronto Downsview to Goose Bay to Keflavik before overnight onto Dublin as ETH9201 arriving 1211 local. The aircraft departed Dublin at 1328 local to Rome Fiumicino before overnight to its home base in Addis Ababa.
This is the third Ethiopian Airlines Dash 8-400 to be delivered through Dublin following sistership’s ET-AXX and ET-AXY on 28th October 2020. C-GKYL is to be registered as ET-AXZ.
Ethiopian Airlines currently operates a fleet of 29 DHC8-400 aircraft in a two class 71 seat configuration with 9 cloud nine and 64 economy class powered by PW150A engines. Ethiopian’s key strategic partnerships with ASKY Airlines, Malawi Airlines, Ethiopian Moçambique Airlines and Tchadia Airlines operate Dash 8-400 aircraft across Africa.
